Crashed over at Adlin's last weekend.

Saw this Roland Digital Delay rack at a Cash Converter. I think it's meant for karaoke or live vocal performance. Who cares?

Russell

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Russell's younger brother, Royston

Took some time to visit Russell. His family just relocated back to KL a few months ago. Within a span of 2 hours, I managed to do a 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' jigsaw puzzle, set up Thomas The Train, spell the alphabet and arrange the picture cards. I dunno about them but I was bushed...

Adlin trying to pout. It's quite an ugly sight.

Ching Ching and Sen Kiat. I've no idea why they did this whole Japanese kawaii thing... Must be the sugar rush from that ice-cream.

Adlin's kitten, Marbles which I've trained to be a commando cat within the 2 nights I was there. She can jump "from such great heights", sneak past enemy lines and shoot laser beams from her eyes. Umm, yeah.

Björk - Triumph Of A Heart

Spike Jonze-directed video. I didn't really like Medulla that much when I got it but now I've lost the CD, I can't revisit it anymore. Fuck. Great video, anyway.

The Knife - We Share Our Mother's Health (live)

As recommended by The Keith. I love this tune. Just love the jauntly beat. And er, interestingly outfits. Check out José González's cover of the Swedish brother-and-sister duo's 'Heartbeats' here.

I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Woo hoo!!!

Leaving for Kuala Lumpur for the weekend tomorrow. Can't wait! I'd be crashing at Adlin's. In any case, here's our MSN coversation:

Everybody Wants To Rule The World says:

Everybody Wants To Rule The World says:

Everybody Wants To Rule The World says:

Everybody Wants To Rule The World says:

Pirates Of The Carribbean: At World's End

Captain Jack's back... again.

Apparently, "World's End" in the movie is actually Singapore. Yeah, I always knew we were the shithole of the planet. Yeah.

It makes my blood boil!!!

Someone who cannot be named sent me this clip of Scarlett Johansson showing her side boob. This is it.

ENJOY!!!

FUBAR!!!

This latest version of Windows IE I've downloaded (which is basically trying to emulate Firefox Mozilla) is preventing me for viewing my own bloody blog. What the fuck's wrong with it?

I can blog but I can't view the blog.

Fuck, I'd prolly uninstall the fucker and install Mozilla. It's fucken pissin' me off...

The Cure - Never Enough (Live 2005)

There's rampant rumours that The Cure will be swinging by Singapore on Wednesday 1 August 2007 for a show. It's apparently on their official site as well. Billy told me that "I don't know if Robert Smith has it but I'd be there." So will I. It's always funny to see a middle-aged man in a wig and make-up. Check out the video.

KoRn feat The Cure - Make Me Bad In Between Days

David Gan's worst nightmare. Everyone in the video looks like they are in dire need of washing their hair.

Everything's Gone Green trailer

Steph Song stars in this American indie flick, written by Douglas Coupland. When I mean 'star', I really mean she's credited in the trailer, not having a cameo.

Howzah!

Adlin and Kim were in town this weekend. Met up with him at the Esplanade. He passed me a free (woo hoo!) ticket to the Rachel Yamagata show just 10 minutes before showtime. The show was alright. The country bits were nice. Though I've never heard her tunes before, I thought she sounds pretty much like Cat Power.

In any case, we bumped into Natalie after the show. She has just adopted a stray decor from the Ang Pow River festivalities. Check out her hood which comes with ears.

Jaga Jazzist -

What an amazing band! I've only managed to take one photo on my mobile phone. This's for those who just can't get enough. Heh, the exact lighting as well.

This is the first encore they did. And you can download this song off their official site too.

Air/ Air Supply

While I was YouTubing for Air's videos, I stumbled upon this video. Don't lie to youself by saying you hate Air Supply; everyone has their favourite Air Supply song. It's the same with Jean-Claude van Damme movies as well. My favourite is 'Kickboxer'.

Air Supply - All Out Of Love

Sing along if you know the words! What are you thinking of?! Indeed! I wonder how the song would sound like you cover it in Portishead style?

Air and Phoenix - Sexy Boy (live)

Not one of the better Air in my opinion. I've always like Phoenix though I've never gotten around to get their albums. For those with that type of fetish, this is vocoder heaven.

Lacuna Coil - Enjoy The Silence (live)

My good friends Camra covered this song when they played at the Esplanade a month ago. Linda told me that she wanted to start wearing corsets for their shows as Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil wears one. Erm...

In any case, their version is only decent, not fantastic but I guess the kids would love it. Sorta reminded me of my younger days when I heard Nine Inch Nails's cover of Joy Division's 'Dead Souls' before I heard the original, preferring the cover as it was well, heavier. I still prefer the cover though.

Anyway, only one band still do 'Enjoy The Silence' better than any other acts out there as long as Martin Gore doesn't have to chip his nails while doing it. Here's the live video.

The Big Ones with Depeche Mode

Here's Rachel Stevens' one. Those are her big ones indeed.

Hugging the Buddha's legs at the very last minute

In Mandarin, that means you are doing the things at the very last minute. I'm reviewing the Jaga Jazzist show next Tuesday 13 March at the Esplanade for JUNK and I've only heard 4 mp3s off their website. Vivian and Leslie of The Observatory were nice enough to drop off their albums at Keong Saik Road (Snakeweed Acoustic Labs) where I was meeting the B-Quartet boys.

Well, I'd be happier if they passed me promo copies of their 3rd album! Heh. I hope they'll get Evan on the mike again on for their 14 April show like their last album launch. He's a riot on the mike.

Pop! Goes My Heart

The music video of Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore's latest flick 'Music And Lyrics'. Love how Hugh Grant hammed it up here. Utterly and totally '80s! The lyrics can be found here.
